Greetings: Studio2VideoProductions.com would like to introduce to you the TV Producer/Director, Motivational speaker, webmaster, Black Cowboy and video Documentation historical Detective, Mr. Carvel Watson. Mr. Watson is a man of many talents but his passion is education. Mr. Watson would love to come share his extensive knowledge with your students or group members. Mr. Watson created an outreach program for at risk children at The Carson Valley School in Flourtown, Pa.. He also made presentations with his horse Hachi Bachi at summer camp's and summer children’s activities explaining what part the black cowboys played in the founding of the West. Including rodeo, bulldogging, country and western music and the part that the buffalo soldiers played in opening up the west for the settlers after the Civil War ended. He is also a media consultant, he has given presentations and answered questions from school children of all ages and adults on how the communications media affects our lives. Mr.Watson coordinated field trips to television stations to give students a better understanding of all aspects of the television media, and to inspire them to become a part of this industry. He has given immortality to the senior jazz musicians since 1990 by documenting and (accumulating)the most extensive video library of live jazz performers in the Delaware Valley. Carvel Watson is an expert television Producer/Director, specializing in documentaries, and the founder of www.Studio2videoProductions.com. This organization is a community based production company. Mr. Watson has over 25 years in the film making business. Under his leadership Studio II Productions Inc. organization has produced 12 video documentaries entitled: "This Week in African-American History". Of the 12 The Richard Allen Story is his favorite . Several other accomplishments include his production of a documentary on The Black Family Reunion; a tribute to Dr. Dorothy Height, entitled an African Queen here in America and Founder of “The Black Family Reunion” Nationwide Summer Festivals. Mr. Watson's portfolio also includes working as an independent producer for WYBE TV channel 35, covering Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley area and a television documentary production on the study of the bagpipes entitled: "Bagpipes, The Rufus Harley Story"; as well as an interview with Mr. Haylee Geroma, about his independent production of a major motion picture film entitled "Sankofa". He also produced a weekly television series called Media Advocates. As project coordinator/ public relations director Mr. Watson has coordinated hundreds of live events and community based events. To his credit, since 1970: A first of its kind, highly successful project was The October 16, 1976 Information Day Community Project. This beautiful project was a day designated solely to informing the public of the many services funded by the government at the city, state, and federal levels. Note: this is the same date the Million Man March was held in Washington D.C. 1995 (19) nineteen years later. Another community-based-project was the enormously successful Christmas of 1976 Food Marathon. This was a musical Food-A-Thon held at the Belmont School located in Philadelphia at Brown and Preston Streets. The event extended from 12:00 noon until 12:00 midnight, included continuous live band music and entertainment for the admissions cost of canned goods. Hundreds of turkeys and food baskets were given away as a result of the generous display of brotherhood towards the community. Another display of his workmanship was unveiled in the capturing of the activities for the Quaker City Funeral Directors in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park Memorial Hall. Raved reviews were received for his production of the Wake-Up Call for Blacks to Stop Killing Each Other Video Documentary Presentation. In focusing upon the Philadelphia Educational Community, Mr. Watson has documented many activities . Such as,The Philadelphia Clef Club for the Performing Arts documenting summer activities, the interactions of professional trainers, students for The Let's Jam Project, and the Montessori Genesis II School-documenting the activities of faculty and students.
